Short film titled as ‘Drug- a painful death’ to be launched tomorrow

Srinagar: ‘Drug- a painful death’, a short film on drug addiction will be launched online on Tuesday in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Jammu based social activist, Chowdhary Rabiya Shafiq is the writer and the director of the film, who said that she will launch this film on her official facebook page and the youtube channel.

She said that the film aims to give a good message to the society on drug addiction, with lead role played by Irazz Mughal.

Rabiya further said that her district Rajouri is experiencing an alarming increase of drug abuse among the youngsters in recent years, which made her compelled to release a short film, with the motive to create awareness.

“As the Rajouri is experiencing an alarming increase of drug abuse among the youngsters in recent years, i decided to launch films on drug addiction, which will make people aware about the disadvantages of drug abuse. Part-I of the film ‘Drug- a painful death’ will be launched tomorrow,” Rabiya said.
