Seven GMC Anantnag students test positive for COVID-19

Anantnag: Seven students of Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag here tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday, an official said.
The students of first year MBBS tested positive for the infection during a mass sampling drive on Friday, he said.
The seven MBBS students whose samples were taken today tested positive for COVID-19, said Medical Superintendent of GMC Anantnag, Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Sofi
He said students tested positive for COVID-19 have been advised to self-isolate and convey their close contacts to get them tested for COVID-19, he added.
Added that the GMC management has decided that the mass sampling would be done periodically.
