Security forces besiege neighborhood of Batmaloo area

Security forces on Monday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in the Deyarwani area of Batamaloo in Srinagar.

According to reports a joint team of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Special Operational Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police personnel cordoned off the Deyarwani area. The houses in the area also being searched by the forces.

The searches were going on when this report was last filed.
