Arising State Desk
Srinagar, Mar 02 : After nearly, 32 months, schools in Kashmir valley reopened on Wednesday, from classes 6th to 12th. First, it was due to security reasons, then the Covid-19 epidemic that kept kids away from the schools in the Valley.
According to reports, students were seen jubilant to attend offline classes after a long gap.It was a mesmerizing moment to see kids joyfully hopping on their school buses and meeting their friends and classmates. Many students were seen dressed in their school uniforms and some seen in casuals . As according to a govt order issued earlier wherein schools have been instructed not to press students for wearing uniforms for first few weeks, rather they should be allowed to come in casuals .
Happy children while talking to Arising state said ,”they were overwhelmed to join school after a long gap”. One of the students namely Muhammed said , ‘its been more than two years since I have seen my school or met my teachers and friends ,staying home has reduced our capabilities and put a lot of stress on our minds. I want to be back to school and reunite myself to my origin. School is the medium that nourishes and helps us to grow in the right manner. It lets our creativity run its course from the mental block clutches.”
Meanwhile, another student said that as Covid-19 is not gone yet, it is important for everyone including students and teachers to follow Covid Appropriate behaviour, issued by the government from time to time.
