School Timings Changed Across Kashmir Division from October
Srinagar, Sep 30: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Tuesday announced a change in school timings for both Government and recognized Private Schools across the Kashmir Division, effective from October 3, 2025.
According to the order (No. 263-DSEK of 2025), schools falling within the Srinagar Municipal limits will now function from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, while schools located outside the municipal limits of Srinagar and in other areas of the Kashmir Province will operate from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The directive further states that all institutions must adhere strictly to the revised timings without any deviation.
