Retreat Budgam farmers from bringing grievances into LG’s Notice “injustice”: JKCSF
Chairman Jammu Kashmir civil society forum(JKCSF) Ab Qayoom Wani said that Farmers are the backbone of our economy and society need to be respected and heard by the administration but it is unfortunate that one thousand families of Budgam are suffering and their land is being forcibly acquired for ring Road project have not been allowed by district administration Budgam to meet LG Manoj Sinha during his Budgam visit to raise their genuine issue of forcible land acquisition by authorities.
In a statement issued, Wani said these affected farmers have approached JKCSF office bearers and apprised them about the indifferent attitude of district administration Budgam.
Wani said that JKCSF is committed to raising voice against any kind of injustice with people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Wani urged upon Chief Secretary to take strong notice of it and appealed him to listen to the grievances of affected farmers of Ring road.
JKCSF assured affected farmers for full support in their justified struggle.
