Republic Day 2021 Celebrated in Police District Awantipora

Awantipora 26 Jan: Republic Day 2021 was celebrated on Tuesday in Police District Awantipora with great fervor wherein tricolor was unfurled at each Police Station/Police establishment.

The main function was held at Police District Lines Awantipora in which Additional Deputy Commissioner Awantipora Shri Zaffar Hussain Shawl-KAS, unfurled the National Flag as chief guest and inspected the Parade.

SSP Awantipora Shri Tahir Saleem-JKPS,Tehsildar Awantipora Shri Mohammed Maqbool, DySP DAR DPL Awantipora Shri Rashid Akbar besides other senior officers of civil administration/ Police Department were present on the occasion.

The parade was commanded by SDPO Tral Shri Aejaz Ahmad -JKPS, while the march past was presented by the Contingent of CRPF, SSB, District Police Awantipora, Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police and Home Guard.

Besides, colorful cultural programmes were presented and awards were given to the best performers by the chief guest.

Good number of people witnessed the function, as elaborate security arrangement were made by the District Police Awantipora.
