Reportedly Tour Guide Feared Dead, 13 Tourists being Rescued in Mountainous Tarsar area of Pahalgam

Anantnag, June 22: Authorities in Pahalgam area of Anantnag district have launched a rescue operation following a group of trekkers who were stuck in mountainous Tarsar area in the upper reaches of Aru in Pahalgam tourist spot. As per an official source, “Rescue operation has been launched to evacuate 14 tourists who were stuck near Tarsar lake amid intense rainfall at Pahalgam. A tourist guide accompanying the group may have drowned”.
