Ramban police recovers three missing kasmiri girls while travelling towards Jammu in a passenger vehicle
As per the directions received from seniors, on the intervening night of 30/31 Jan that one vehicle bearing registration number JK02 AH 3086 on its way from Srinagar to Jammu, in which some missing girls from Kashmir were travelling. On this information, the said vehicle was intercepted at Nashri Naka at about 1:30 hrs, during the course of verification the other passengers were found genuine and were allowed to proceed to Jammu.
Whereas 03 girls namely;
01 Nargis Manzoor D/O Manzoor Ahmed Paul R/O Ompura Budgam Age 20
02 Afreen Gazi D/O Mohd Shaffi Gazi R/O Khumani Chowk Bimna Srinagar Age 20
03 Suzane Manzoor D/O Manzoor Ahmed Mir R/O Khumani Chowk Bimna Srinagar Age 18.
On being asked about their journey they could not justify their position about their journey towards Jammu which raises concerns and doubts. After inquiring, it was found that missing reports of the above said girls were already lodged at PP Bemina Srinagar thereafter an immediate signal was flashed to PP Bemina Srinagar about their current whereabouts. In turn, a police party along with their parents reported at this PS and all 03 missing girls were identified by their parents and handed over to them after legal formalities.
Parents of the missing girls extended their gratitude and regards to Ramban Police for its swift action in tracing out the missing girls and handing over them to their parents.
The efforts of the Nashri Naka Police party led by Insp Ranjeet Singh Rao SHO P/S Batote to tracing the missing girls were directly supervised by Sh Rajinder Chib DySP hqrs Ramban and overall supervision of Sh Haseeb-ur-Rehman SSP Ramban.
