Prominent PDP leader joins Congress: Mir asks Frontal Wings to gear up for exposing BJP’s falsehood

Jammu: An impressive function was held by the Pradesh Congress Committee, at Shaheedi Chowk here today, in which PCC President Shri G.A. Mir and other senior functionaries of the Congress formally admitted and welcomed Chaman Lal Manyal, Senior PDP leader of Raipur Domana Constituency along with his supporters into the Congress party.  Prominent those present were Shri  Mula Ram &  Shri Raman Bhalla (Vice Presidents), Ch. Shah Mohd (General Secretary) a DCC President Jammu Rural Shri Hari Singh Chib. Shri G.A. Mir President JKPCC while welcoming him to the Congress party, extensively dealt with emerging political scenario in the three regions of the state, where Congress party is fast emerging as the only choice of people because of its progressive policies, democratic and secular values being strengthened by the party. He said that secularism is the strength of the Indian Nation and only Congress can lead the state and the entire nation to the path of peace, progress and prosperity by strengthening the secular fabric of this country.

 Shri Mula Ram while welcoming the new Comers in the party said that the SC leaders who joined congress today will work hard for strengthening the party at the grass-root level. He said that more people want to join the Congress party under the dynamic leadership of Smt. Sonia Gandhi. He further said that  BJP and its sister organizations have started creating certain odd issues to divert the attention of the general public from their failures but people are not fooled, they will teach them a lesson at the appropriate time.

Shri Raman Bhalla said that both  Modi led Central Govt. and previous PDP-BJP State governments have failed to fulfill even a single commitment with the people and brought miseries for the common man due to their wrong policies. The achievement of Govt. is that the divisive forces have succeeded in vitiating the atmosphere of peace and harmony in the Country. There are hues and cries everywhere and nobody feels secure in the present regime. He Said that the failure of the government is required to be highlighted amongst the public for their anti-national policies and assured newcomers that a state of a fair deal and justice will prevail only under Congress Regime. While speaking on the occasion  Shri Chaman Lal Manyal who joined Congress party said that he was impressed with the working and secular approach of Congress party which is progressing very fast under the dynamic leadership of Smt. Sonia Gandhi. He said that in the present time it is only the Congress party that can lead the country to prosperity and development. While elaborating on the occasion he said that the sincere efforts put in by PCC President Sh. G.A.Mir, Vice-Presidents Shri. Mula Ram, Shri Raman Bhalla, and DCC President Shri Hari Singh Chib and other rank and files of the party who have contributed a lot for strengthening the party.  He was highly impressed by the party functioning which motivated him to join Congress party under the leadership of Shri G.A. Mir.

 Earlier PCC Chief Ghulam Ahmed Mir addressed a meeting of Party’s Frontal Organizations/Departments/Cells of JKPCC at PCC HQ, in the meeting various ways and means were discussed to strengthen the party at the grass-root level. The meeting attended by Smt. Indu Pawar – President  Mahila Congress Shiv Kumar Sharma ( INTUC) Sh. Uday Bhanu Chib ( Youth Congress), Sh. Rajesh Sadotra ( Sewa Dal ), Sh. Sh. G.L.
