Principal GDC, other officials take extensive tour to far-flung schools in Tral
Tral, 15 March: Principal GDC Tral Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Farooq Mir along with Prof. Bashir Ahmad Shah (HoD Political Science), Prof. Aadil Rehman(Coordinator IQAC), Prof. Mohd Syed, Mr. Umar Rashid Dar and Mr. Suhail Ahmad of Zonal Education office Tral/Lurgam took an extensive tour to far-flung schools of zone Lurgam Tral.
On the occasion, Prof. Mir interacted with the teachers and students of SSA Govt. Primary School Doodimarg and HSS Doodimarg. He stressed that the aim and objective of the visit is to adopt some schools of ST inhabitation.
While taking on the spot account of the facilities, he assured that college will leave no stone unturned to uplift the standard of education in the area and promised to work in close collaboration with the school authorities to nurture the hidden talents of students.
The Principal invited the students and teachers to the college for undertaking academic activities. He offered to share the library facilities and laboratories for the greater benefit of the student community. The School authorities expressed their gratitude to the college administration and reiterated that this academic collaboration will prove a stepping stone to take these schools to new heights in future.
