Polytechnic college students seek mass promotion amid COVID-19 outbreak
Students of Polytechnic College Srinagar on Monday appealed authorities to promote them to the next semester without conducting exams in wake of Covid-19 pandemic situation.
Talking to media, a delegation of students studying in Polytechnic College Gogji-Bagh Srinagar impressed upon higher authorities to promote them to the next semester without examination.
They said that Kashmir University has decided to promote its students to the next semester without making them sit for the exams, while as authorities of Polytechnic College Gojgi-Bagh are completely flying in the face of it.
“Technical, Board has taken a decision of conducting our exams, but how come it is possible when students lack study material. Besides, we also couldn’t avail the benefit of online classes through Zoom Cloud App due to low internet speed in Valley”, students said.
They appealed authorities to follow Kashmir University and promote students to the next semester without conducting their exams”.
