Policeman receives injury in Anantnag militant attack

Anantnag, May 01: A cop has been injured after suspected militants fired upon a Police party at Anantnag district in South Kashmir on Saturday evening.

Sources said that militants fired upon a police party, which were on ‘Covid Lockdown duty’ near Lazibal area of Anantnag.

They said that one policeman, identified as Ghulam Muhammad recieved minor injury and was shifted to nearby health unit for treatment.

As per sources, the attack was retailed, and the area has been sealed, while search was also launched to nab the attackers.
