PM Modi addresses rally in Rajasthan say’s ‘Country is in safe hands
Hours after Indian Air Force carried out air strikes across the LoC, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, 26 February, said, “Today I assure the countrymen, the country is in safe hands.”
PM Modi was addressing a rally in Rajasthan’s Churu where the pictures of 40 CRPF jawans who were martyed in the Pulwama attack were used in the backdrop.
Earlier, Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale had said “India struck the biggest JeM terror camp in Balakot, run by Masood Azhar’s brother-in-law” confirming reports of India carrying out air strikes across the LoC at 3:30 am.
He further said that a large number of JeM terrorists, trainers, senior commander and Jihadis were eliminated.
Reports suggest that 12 Mirage 2000 Indian Fighter jets dropped 1,000 kg bombs destroying terror camps across the LoC.
