PDD’s PDL/TDL employees stage protest in Awantipora, demand redressal of issues

Awantipora: The PDL/TDL employees of the power development department (PDD) staged a protest demonstration in the Awantipora division of South Kashmir on Friday.

The protesting employees under the banner of All Jammu and Kashmir Electrical PDL/TDL employees assembled near Awantipora’s power division dept. and raised slogans, demanding redressal of their issues.

The aggrieved employees said that DPC which was conducted in 2019 is yet to be issued.

They said that seniority files of those TDL/PDL employees are also pending in different offices, who completed their seven years of services in the department.

The employees further said that no rehabilitation policy is being made for those employees, who met accidents in the line of duty.

The protesting employees demanded resolution of their problems at the earliest.
