Srinagar, Jan 08: Amid complaints of non-clearance of roads, in several areas of Srinagar, Arising state received a number of complaints from Srinagarites complaining about non-clearance of snow in their respective areas. One such report was received from Ompura Housing colony Budgam where snow is accumulated on vital roads of the colony leading to the main road. People here have complained about the non-clearance of snow in the area due to which its residents are unable to move out of their houses .People here alleged that Executive officer MC Budgam has been playing a mute role by shifting his responsibility on the local corporater who has been alloted a JCB to clear snow in the colony. However, the corporater as per people was seen busy in clearing the snow in and around his personal accomodation located in the same colony . Not only this the corporater  is misusing the equipments provided by the admin to facillitate the people in the area. The locals told Arising State that corporator is not a govt employee where they can go and complain about their problems rather its responsibility of Executive officer Budgam   to look in the matter and help them out in this difficult time. But the Executive officer Budgam is behaving in an eratic manner ,just to evade his responsibility the locals claimed.

Meanwhile, the residents of Housing colony Budgam have demanded an immediate intervention of authorities to look into the matter to let them heive a sigh of relief.
