Nowgam Police recovered Kidnapped girl, Kidnapper arrested within 12 hours

Nowgam, 18July : Nowgam Police recovered a kidnapped girl and arrested her kidnapper.

On 17 July, Police station Nowgam received a complaint from one (name withheld) resident of Rakhi Shilwat stating that his daughter (Name withheld) has been kidnapped by Aadil Ahmad Mir S/O Nazir Ahmad Mir R/O Rakhi Shilwat Bandipora.
On the directions of SDPO Sumbal and SHO sumbal DO Nowgam.
Upon this information, a case FIR number 89/2022 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police station Nowgam and investigation was set into motion.

After strenuous efforts of Nowgam Police the accused kidnapper alongwith kidnapping girl was arrested within 12 hours. After fulfilling all medico-legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her parents. Further investigation into the matter is in progress.
