NIA raids underway at different locations across J&K

Srinagar, May 09 : The National Investigating Agency (NIA) on Tuesday morning carried out raids at several locations across Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

The raids as per officials are being carried out at Anantnag, Kulgam, Poonch, Shopian and other districts of J&K.

The agency carried raids at Khurumpore and Chanpora areas of Shopian. “The first raid was carried at the house of Showkhat Ahmad Ganie at Khurumpore Shopian and the second raid at Chanpora Shopian at the house of Fayaz Ahmad Baba. The NIA has lift Fayaz ah baba and his son (Suhaib) along with the Khata book of their Kiryana shop,” sources told.

However it was not yet know that why and in which connection the agency has carried the fresh raids. (KNS)
