National SnowShoe Championship to commence from Saturday at Gulmarg
Around 100 athletes from 11 teams participating in the championship
SRINAGAR, MARCH 18:The National SnowShoe Championship 2022 is going to commence on Saturday at Gulmarg.
Director Tourism Kashmir, Dr G.N Itoo flagged off the teams from TRC here today. The teams from various parts of Country who are participating in the championship reached Srinagar on Friday.
Around 100 athletes representing 11 States and HAWS team are going to participate in the event.
During the two day event, competitions of Long Distance and Sprint events would be held in both male and female section on both senior and junior categories.
The event is being organised by J&K SnowShoe Association in collaboration with Directorate of Tourism Kashmir and SnowShoe Federation of India.
