National Road Safety Month inaugurated at Awantipora 

Awantipora 18 Jan: Awantipora Police inaugurated National Road Safety Month by an event of distribution of pamphlets regarding road safety tips among the road users at NHW at Kachkoot Toll Plaza and Galander Crossing Pampore.

SDPO Awantipora and SDPO Pampore along with SHO Awantipora and SHO Pampore while interacting with drivers travelling on National Highway provided them with basic tips of road safety.

Pertinent to mention that National Road Safety Month has started today vide Government of India notification No. RT-25029/01/2020-RS dated 17 December 2020 to observe National Road Safety Month from 18 January 2021 to 17 February 2021.
