National Conference committed to delivering promises to J&K people: Justice Masoodi
Speaking at an event, he highlighted that the Supreme Court of India has assured the restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
Justice Masoodi said there was disconnect between the people and the administration, for last six months blaming it on excessive bureaucratic control. “This gap has created frustration among the people and weakened the link between governance and public needs,” he said.
He also spoke about recent political developments, including changes in leadership within the party, and noted the challenges faced post-elections. He highlighted the importance of reconnecting with the people and ensuring their voices are heard in the decision-making process.
“The National Conference has always stood for the rights and dignity of the people,” he said, adding that the party will continue to work tirelessly to achieve these goals.
Justice Masoodi urged the government to take immediate steps to rebuild trust and ensure that governance becomes more inclusive and people-centric. He reaffirmed the party’s dedication to restoring the aspirations of the people, including the return of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
