The Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday, 21 February, approved air travel for all personnel of Central Armed Paramilitary Forces, including CRPF, on Delhi-Srinagar, Srinagar-Delhi, Jammu-Srinagar and Srinagar-Jammu sectors.

The decision will immediately benefit approximately 780,000 personnel.

Earlier in the day, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala broke the party’s silence on the Pulwama attack. He said that PM Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah “have a bad reputation of politicising terror attacks”.

Meanwhile, NIA on Wednesday took over the Pulwama attack probe and re-registered the case. MHA had on Tuesday transferred the case to the NIA.
