Rain lashes J&K, Met department says more expected in coming days
“The rain is expected to continue tomorrow, with a brief spell of rain/thundershowers at isolated places,” the MeT said, adding that from September 2-3, the region can expect generally cloudy weather with a possibility of light to moderate rain/thundershowers at many places.
A dry spell is expected from September 4-6, followed by another spell of light to moderate rain mainly over Jammu Division on September 7-8.
The Met Centre has also issued an advisory warning of flash floods, landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones over vulnerable places, as well as water logging in low-lying areas.
“Residents are advised to take necessary precautions,” the MeT department said.
