Meet Nasir Roshan Khan, 11th class student from Baramulla, penned down ‘Heal the Humanity’ book

Srinagar: Nasir Roshan Khan, 11th class student from Boniyar area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla has recently penned down a poetry book .
Titled as ‘Heal the Humanity’, the book is depiction of human sentiments ,feelings and emotions like love, peace, humanity and unity.
Talking to Arising State Correspondent, Nasir said that he used to write English poems, when he was in 10th standard. In order to create awareness about his poetry Nasir decided to turn his collection of poems into a book .In short span of time Nasir was successful in publishing his book titled ‘Heal the humanity ” based on his collection of poems .
The teenage author is also”co-author of several other books which includes Sheen, Broken Soul, Peace and Poetry, etc.”
His recently published book “Heal the humanity” is available online at Amazon and Google book store.
The author said that he started his writing career in Feb-2020, after reading Anne Frank ,and was inspired by a sentence in the book, which is “Paper has more patience than people”.
He said that besides English, he also writes in urdu language and aspires to be in civil service in future.
He added , “the arrows of criticism shot at me, never dampened my spirit, rather prepared me for the worst . I motivate myself by saying that I have to live up to my own expectations .”
The Author is also working in a podcast namely “Aao Unhen Yaad karen”, and has an online platform “Jannat de Jugnu” where he features talent of Kashmir.
Lastly,Nasir said that he is inspired by many poets like Anne Frank, Ali Zaryoun, Tehzeeb Hafi, Aga Shahid Ali etc adding that he has been supported by many artists of the valley, such as Ayieena Altaf, Rj Basharat Peer, & Journalist Mudasir Maqbool.
