Pulwama: 19-year-old Aneesa Iqbal shines as a beacon of hope and inspiration among the young generation, as she turning her aspirations into reality.
Aneesa Iqbal hails from Arihal village area in Pulwama of south Kashmir has inspired her community by running a sustainable wellness business while preparing for the NEET exam. she makes a sustainable soaps to support her dream of becoming a doctor.
Aneesa is receiving widespread praise for defying societal norms and skilfully balancing her small business with her education, aiming for financial independence.
Aneesa is Passionate about eco-friendly products, and creates handcrafted soaps and candles using local ingredients, with plans to launch natural shampoos soon.
Aneesa is preparing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), which grants admission to medical colleges across the country to pursue an MBBS degree. “I am preparing for the NEET exams. While studying, the idea struck me that I should start a small business alongside my preparation, as I cannot be dependent on others all the time,” she said.
Balancing her business with medical exam preparation hasn’t been easy, but Aneesa credits her family’s support as key.
By managing both her entrepreneurial ambitions and academic goals, Aneesa encourages others in Pulwama and beyond to pursue their dreams with dedication.
“My goal is to provide wellness products that are both effective and environmentally friendly,” she said.
Aneesa’s ability to balance her business with her studies has not been without its challenges, but she credits her family for their steadfast support.
Aneesa sells her products online and to wholesale shopkeepers who show significant interest in eco-friendly items. Through her initiative, she not only earns an income but also provides employment to nearly half a dozen local women.
