Local Oxygen suppliers say demand increased but no shortage of oxygen

Share
Srinagar 28 April: Kashmir-based oxygen suppliers today said there is no shortage of oxygen cylinders in the valley. However, the demand has increased from the last two weeks, they said.

Speaking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a supplier said that before the second wave of Coronavirus Pandemic, they used to fill four cylinders daily.
“At this time our plant is running 24 hours a day and it’s whole supply goes for medical purposes.”

He added that they work in three shifts and each group has an 8-hour working shift to supply uninterrupted oxygen to the hospitals.

They appealed to follow the SOPs so that they don’t witness situations like the rest of the states here.
