LAWDA demolishes two illegal structures at Nishat
The demolition team of the Enforcement Wing Lakes and Waterways Development Authority under the supervision of Enforcement Officer demolished two illegal constructions,single -storey house and tin walling at Lashkari Mohalla NFR in the greenbelt area. The illegal constructions were constructed during the Covid-19 Lockdown. Also, illegal earth filling was removed at Nishat near LDA parking.
It is pertinent to mention here that amid Covid-19 when there is Lockdown, the miscreants are taking undue advantage and indulging in illegal constructions .” all such miscreants will not be allowed for any sort of violation and raising of illegal constructions/encroachments” LAWDA authorities said.
While Night Checking Naka’s are established to seize the trippers /load carriers carrying building material. FIRs are being registered in the concerned police stations regarding the violators, however, these elements don’t refrain from violating the norms.
‘It is, therefore, requested that all the public residing within the LDA jurisdiction not to go for any sort of illegal constructions /encroachments. As the Enforcement wing will continue with the demolition of illegal constructions. Moreover, the Tripper/Load carrier owners are directed not to carry any type of illegal construction material in the prohibited area of Dal/ Nigeen Lake without proper permission from the concerned agencies,’ added the LAWDA authorities.
