JKGBYWC announces its Kashmir Province team

Srinagar: J&K Gujjar Bakerwal Youth Welfare Conference (JKGBYWC), announced its unit of Kashmir Province on Tuesday, and gave team a new look, with various old faces replaced with new ones.

On that occasion, Choudhary Mustafa Rahie has been retained again as the President of Kashmir Province, while as Choudhary Abdul Hamid Doie has been Nominated as the Senior Vice President.

The responsibility of post of Vice Presidents have been assigned to Akram Choudhary & Ch Shouket Shabir Kalas, following which Ch Abdullah Poswal has been elevated and has been assigned the responsibility of Post of General Secretary, who, apart from this will also hold the additional responsibility of Post of President of District Unit Bandipora, till nomination of new President.

Similarly, Irshad Ahmed Khatana has been elevated and nominated as Additional General Secretary, who will also hold the additional charge of General Secretary of District unit Anantnag, while the task of spokesperson has been given to Iqram Bajran, and Akhter Hussain Gegi would hold the responsibility of post of additional spokesperson.

Arif Hussain Kasana appointed as State media secretary, Rashid Gegi as Secreatry of team while Nissar Hussain Kalas has been nominated as Joint Secretary.

Moreover, Adv Talib Chechi has been assigned as the responsibility of Legal Advisor to team, while Arif Hussina Chouhan as Social Media Incharge and Zubair Ahmed Choudhary as Additional Secretary to team.

The gujjar leaders said that the greatest strength and asset of any Community is Youth and it becomes the prime responsibility of youth to come out and take a lead.

While welcoming to all new young faces in team fold Ch Mushtaq Budgami, Zahid Parwaz Choudhary, Ch Fayaz Karnahi, Ch Mustafa Rahie, have stated that JKGBYWC, is emerging a vibrant and strong voice of community as the motto of team to educate the people about their rights, to raise the issues and problems of people.

They said that Prime objective of the team is to work for Education, which is one of the most powerful weapons — as it can change people, communities, & entire nation.

The leaders further said that an educated one can guide to the right path in a better manner, “he/she can come up with a variety of ideas which may be related to political participation, social equality or environmental sustainability.”

Taking to Twitter, Zahid Parwaz Choudhary, congratulated the new team and wrote, “Congratulations and best wishes to the new team. I am confident they will uphold the glorious tradition of our team of serving the people of community selflessly and with dedication. May they work hard to empower the poor and marginalised.”

He added that they will work with responsibility and dedication.
