J&K Police attach 18 Kanals of land under UAPA Act in Bandipora

Srinagar: Police have attached 18 kanals of land belonging to six accused persons under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) in Jammu Kashmir’s Bandipora district.The six accused persons are involved in Case FIR No 33/2022 U/S 121 IPC, 18,20,39 UAPA Act, 2/3 E&IMCO Act of Police Station Bandipora, Police said on Thursday.They said the immovable property measuring 18.1 kanals of land, valuing about Rs 2.81 Crore.Giving details of the land attachment, Police said land measuring 2 Kanal 11 Marla belongs to Mohmad Anwar Mir a resident of Harteng Mantrigam, 3 Kanal 15 Marlas belongs to Ab Rashid Doie of Ketson Aloosa, 3 Kanal 9 Marlas belongs to Sarfraz Ahmad resident of Ketson Aloosa,1Kanal 1Marlas belongs to Mohmad Yousf Turk of Mohd Shamsudin Turk resident of Ketson Aloosa, land measuring 6 Kanal 10 Marlas of Mohmad Abdullah of Aloosa and land measuring 6 Kanal 6 Marlas belongs to Farooq Ahmad of Aloosa.The attachment proceedings were carried out by a police team led by a senior police officer of Bandipora and concerned Naib-Tehsildar, along with revenue officials. The execution of this action was witnessed by local residents of concerned villages.
