J&K Gets 13 New Kendriya Vidyalayas, Highest In India
New Delhi, Dec 07: The Union government in its recent Cabinet meeting has sanctioned 13 new Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) for Jammu and Kashmir.
In Kashmir Valley, KVs have been sanctioned for Ratnipora and Chandhara in Pulwama District and in Drugmulla (Kupwara).
In Jammu Division the new KVs will come up in Gool (Ramban), Bani and Ramkote (Kathua), Reasi and Kakriyal Katra, Mughal Maidan (Kishtwar), Gulpur (Poonch), Vijaypur (Samba), and Panchari (Udhampur).
It may be noted that Jammu and Kashmir has received the highest allocation of KVs among all states and union territories in this announcement.
