Jammu Police rescued kidnapped lady, accused arrested

 Jammu: On 12/10/2020 one missing report of a lady entered in Police Station Gharota vide G.D No. 26 dated 12/10/2020 and after few days, inquiry converted into a case FIR No. 84/2020 U/S 366 IPC investigation of the case has been taken up. Special teams were constituted under the guidance of SDPO Akhnoor Sh. Varun Jandial JKPS and by connecting the various leads a team headed by Inspr. Mahesh Sharma SHO P/S Gharota went for the search of the accused in various places where after hectic efforts and with the support of technical assistance of the native police of the concerned areas finally the kidnapped lady was recovered from Himachal Pradesh Mandi from the possession of the accused namely Bunty Kumar S/o Thoru Ram R/o Kalri Tehsil Bhalwal District Jammu. The said accused was arrested. Further investigation is going on.
