Jammu migrants suffering because of denial of justice in SC Judgment: Bhim Singh
Jammu: Prof.Bhim Singh, President-JKNPP & Supreme Court Advocate who has been fighting for justice to Talwara and Jammu migrants in the Supreme Court of India for nearly 18 years expressed shock on the unjust attitude of J&K govt.Hundreds of Talwara migrants have been sitting on protest demanding ration and other items which were sanctioned by the Supreme Court of India nearly 10 years back.Prof.Bhim Singh with his State Legal Aid Committee with several Advocates in Supreme Court who assisted Prof.Bhim Singh have expressed shock on the attitude of J&K govt which is directly governed by Delhi govt headed by PM Modi for not providing ration to about 600 families since January, 2021. The children are starving. The LG govt in J&K has no idea about the miserable situation in Talwara only. There are more than 2,000 families. Half of them have been ignored in the Supreme Court Judgment because the J&K govt did not provide addresses of migrants who were residing in Udhampur, Kalakot and other places where they were getting shelter to hide themselves with families.Prof.Bhim Singh urged Sh. Manoj Sinha, Lt. Governor J&K to set up a committee to visit Talwara in Reasi or visit himself to give one hour to listen to miserable story of Talwara migrants. Mr. Sinha shall get an opportunity to see Reasi Fort which was raised by General Zorawar Singh. Reasi is birth place of Dogra Maharaja Pratap Singh. LG shall get another opportunity to see how birth place of Maharaja Pratap Singh is being treated by the govts of Jammu & Kashmir since 1950.
