Awantipora: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum, Zone Awantipora headed by Zonal President Mr Dillawar Ahmad Wani organized a grand and dignified farewell ceremony in honour of Master Bashir Ahmed Pal on the occasion of his superannuation. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with a large number of teachers from across the zone attending the programme, which was held in a cordial and pleasant atmosphere.

During the ceremony, speakers paid rich tributes to the long, dedicated, and exemplary services rendered by Master Bashir Ahmed Pal in the field of education. They highlighted his honesty, sincerity, discipline, and unwavering commitment towards nurturing young minds, describing him as a role model for the teaching fraternity.
The speakers extended their heartfelt best wishes to the retiring teacher for good health, prosperity, and success in his post-retirement life, and acknowledged his valuable contribution to strengthening the education system in the region.

On the occasion, members of the Teachers Forum especially Provincial President Mr Javad Ahmad Bhat also voiced strong concern over the recently introduced bridge course for teachers, terming it unnecessary. They asserted that teachers are already well-educated and professionally trained, and therefore there is no justification for imposing such courses on them.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and presentation of mementos to Master Bashir Ahmed Pal as a token of respect and appreciation for his lifelong service to education.
