Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor GC Murmu resigns, could be the next CAG
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor GC Murmu on Wednesday tendered his resignation after nine months as the head of administration of the Union Territory of India. According to sources, he could be the next Comptroller and Auditor General of India after Rajesh Mehrishi retires this week.
Meanwhile, sources told that Rajesh Mohar (Retired) will be nominated for the new LG of UT and will take charge tomorrow.
