Instead of Srinagar, GST Council meet to be held in Chandigarh now on June 28-29
Srinagar, June 18 : Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday said that the GST Council meeting will now be held in Chandigarh on June 28 and 29 instead of Srinagar.
Reports said that Centre had earlier given security clearance GST Council meeting to be held in Srinagar.
However, due to fresh security concerns the decision was withdrawn today and meeting has been cancelled in Srinagar.
Finance minister said that the GST Council meeting will take place in Chandigarh on June 28 and 29.
