High-Speed Mobile Internet, Prepaid Calling Services Restored Across Kashmir Valley
Srinagar: High-speed mobile internet and prepaid calling services were restored across the Kashmir Valley on Thursday, bringing relief to residents after a temporary suspension of communication facilities.
Officials said the services were resumed following a review of the prevailing situation, enabling people to regain access to mobile data and prepaid voice services that had remained suspended for a short period.
The restoration is expected to ease communication difficulties faced by residents, particularly students, traders and professionals who rely heavily on internet connectivity for education, business transactions and various online services.
Several residents said the disruption had affected routine activities such as online classes, digital payments and communication with family members outside the Valley.
With the services becoming operational again, normal digital activity is expected to gradually resume across the region, officials said, adding that the situation continues to be monitored to ensure uninterrupted communication services.
