Gunfight Breaks Out In Woods Of Kishtwar

Jammu, No 05: An Encounter has started between terrorists and security forces in forest area of Kalaban of Chatru Kishtwar district on Wednesday.

Taking to micro-blogging platform X, the army’s WhiteKnight Corps wrote, ” In an intelligence based operation, in concert with @jk_police, in early morning hours today, alert troops of #WhiteKnightCorps have established contact with terrorists in general area of Chhatru. Fire exchanged with terrorists. Operation is in progress, reads the post.

Till this report was being filed, intermittent exchange of fire was going on.
