Grenade attack in Kakapora Pulwama leaves dozen injured

Pulwama: A grenade attack in the Kakapora area of Pulwama in South Kashmir on Wednesday has left around a dozen civilians injured.
Sources said that suspected militants hurled a grenade on forces’s party in Kakapora tehsil of Pulwama district, which exploded and injured around a dozen civilians.
They said, “grenade was apparently aimed at the joint team of government forces, which were present there, however, it missed the target & exploded on the road.”
Reports said that all the injured civilians have received splinter injuries and were shifted to hospital for treatment, where their condition is said to be stable.
“Soon after the attack, the area was cordoned off by the forces to nab the attackers,” reports said.
