Govt Transfers Top JKAS Officers; Ghulam Rasool Mir Posted as Special Secretary, Education
Srinagar, July 8: In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Jammu and Kashmir government has transferred and posted two senior JKAS officers with immediate effect.
As per Government Order No. 867–JK(GAD) of 2025,a copy of which lies with Arising State, dated July 8, 2025, Mr. Ghulam Rasool Mir, JKAS, formerly serving as Additional District Development Commissioner, Baramulla, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, School Education Department.
Additionally, Mr. Roshan Lal, JKAS, who was earlier under orders of transfer as Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, has now been posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Doda, against an available vacancy.
The order, issued in the interest of administration, was released by M. Raju, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department (GAD), and takes effect immediately.
