Govt Polytechnic College, Ramban, organises online essay writing competition on COVID-19

Ramban, August, 20: Government Polytechnic College, Ramban today organized an online essay writing competition on the topic “COVID-19 PANDEMIC” in which a large number of trainees participated and submitted their entries through email along with their details.
Pertinent to mention here that Government Polytechnic Ramban is effectively conducting the Online classes, Webinars and various Online competitions through Google Classrooms, Zoom App, Whatsaap, GoMeeting and YouTube channels during the lockdown for the Polytechnic students of all the semester and branches.
Principal of the host College, Er. Vivek Mahajan appreciated the participants for their dedicated participation in all events and competitions organized by the institution during COVID-19 Pandemic.
“Such events and competitions provide a unique opportunity to students to write down their views on the burning topic like “COVID-19 PANDEMIC,” said the principal and further added that the essay competitions would generate awareness regarding prevention of spread of COVID infection in the society and helping the participants to exhibit their talent in the field of writing.
He also lauded the efforts of the college teachers for conducting the online Seasonals test and assignment of the students smoothly in this unprecedented situation.
The first position in the essay writing competition was shared by Akash Singh and Aquib Yousaf Zargar trainees of 6th Semester of Electrical Engineering Branch. Whereas the second position was clinched by the Ganesh Singh of Electrical Engineering Branch and 3rd position was shared by Adil Mukhtyar and Ikhlaq-ul-Amin . While Incharge Teachers, Himanshu Bakshi, Abid Hussain, and Mansoor Naik acted as judge during the competition.
