GDC Tral organises “General Chemistry Quiz”

Tral, 13 March: Department of Chemistry in GDC Tral on Saturday organized a “General Chemistry Quiz” in which chemistry students of B.Sc. 2nd and 3rd Semester participated.

In the inaugural session of the quiz, the worthy principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Bashir Ahmad Mir deliberated on the importance of quiz competitions for the academic development of students.

He also pointed out that such programmes provide an opportunity to know your self.

Prof. Syeda Laila Khalid, staff secretary of the college also shared her views regarding the importance of quiz competitions in academic and personality development of students in the inaugural session.

The inaugural session was moderated by Prof.M. Aabid Shah(Assistant Professor, Chemistry)The technical session was presided over by Dr. Waseem A. Wani, HOD Chemistry.

Among the six groups in the fray, the Zewail group was finally declared the winner of the competition.

The winners of the quiz namely Fahiem ul Wahid and Mehvish Ali (both 3rd semester students) were felicitated with mementoes by the Principal.

The quiz competition concluded by vote of thanks by Prof. M. Aabid Shah.
