Forest department holds plantation drive in AKMAL institute Tral
Tral, 21 March: A plantation drive was held in AKMAL institute Tral on Saturday, in which scores of saplings of different species were planted.
The drive was launched by forest department in collaboration with social forestry, which held in presence of Forest Block Officer, and Chairman AKMAL institute Tral.
During the drive, saplings were jointly planted by the employees of Forest dept, Social forestry, and the students of the school.
On that occasion, an official said that motive of the drive was to keep the surroundings of school green and clean.
Pertinently, Keeping in view COVID-19, SOPs were followed during the said function.
