Forces launch CASO in Pulwama village
Government forces on Friday launched a joint Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Rohmu village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Sources said that Army’s 53 RR, CRPF and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched Cordon and Search Operation (CAS) in Wani Mohalla of Rohmu village after receiving input about the suspicious movement of militants in the area.
They said a large contingent of forces have been rushed to the area and all entry and exit points have been sealed.
“Soon after forces appeared in the area, door to door searches were conducted to establish the contact with the hiding militants in the area, if any”, sources said.
However, the search operation was going on when this report was filed.
