Fallen transmission lines pose threat to school students , staff

Tral, 10 October: Power transmission wires lying on the ground at South Kashmir’s Tral near a school are posing threat to the lives of its students and staff members with no intervention from authorities concerned.
The staff members of Madrasa Taleem Ul Islam school told Arising State that power transmission lines have been lying on the ground after the lines were disconnected a month back by the PDD authorities Adding further that the transmission wires have created fear among the people particularly students and the school staff as the wires may lead to any uncertainty. The concerned authorities are in deep slumber no one among them bothers to fix the transmission wires, the concerned authorities have put the lives of people at risk, said the staff members of the concerned school.
When contacted Additional Deputy Commissioner in Tral, SA Raina said, ‘I will take up the issue with the concerned officials and assured that wires will be repaired soon.’
