Ex-MLA and Two Youth Leaders Rejoin PDP in Srinagar

Srinagar, Aug 21: In a significant event at the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) headquarters in Srinagar, former MLA from Rajouri, Choudhary Qamar Hussain, rejoined the party in a ceremony attended by senior leaders. PDP President Mehbooba Mufti and Vice President Choudhary Hameed warmly welcomed Hussain back into the party fold. The event was also graced by PDP Ex-MLC Abdul Rashid Qurashi, General Secretary Adv. Maroof Khan, State Secretary Arif Laigaroo, Ex-VC and Eidgah Constituency Incharge Dr. Ali Mohamad, and party leader Nadeem Khan, who all supported Hussain’s return to the party.

In another notable function at the party headquarters, two prominent young socio-political leaders, Javid Iqbal Ganie from Palhalan Pattan, Baramulla district, and Zaffar Ahmad Mir from Lasjan, Srinagar, also joined the PDP. These new entrants, along with hundreds of senior political workers, were welcomed by Mehbooba Mufti and other senior PDP leaders, who expressed confidence in the party’s dynamic leadership under the former Chief Minister.
