Employees Unions demand one month additional salary for employees deployed for Election duties in J&K
Jammu: Several J&K Employees Coordination Committees / Trade Union’s seeks one-month additional salary to the employees deployed for various polling processes of DDC, Panchayat and ULB elections. In a statement, said that as in previous panchayat election the morale of the employees of the state was boosted by disbursing one month additional salary to the employees deployed for elections, They again demand for one-month additional salary for the current elections to be held from this year for the employees to be deployed to perform the same. He appreciated the efforts made by the Hon’ble Chief Secretary for the last elections in making the on time disbursal of one month additional salary to the employees concerned.In a joint coordination meeting of various departments appeals His Excellency Hon’ble Lt. Governor, J & K, Shri Manoj Sinha, and Hon’ble Chief Secretary, J & K, Shri Subramaniyam to look into the said matter and he said that as per the remarkable attention of our top administrators is concerned, we hope that our genuine request would be fulfilled as a logical means. He states that the employees of the J&K are always the front liners in every step or the initiative of the government. They have proved their worth in flash floods, irking earthquakes and drastic pandemics like COVID19. Jammu & Kashmir employees are always ready to perform any kind of government duties as well as to take urgent aspects like elections on a priority basis
