Dr. Karan Singh expresses concern over the spread of Covid-19 in Jammu and Kashmir
The first Sadr-e-Riyasat of erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir state and Member of Parliament Dr. Karan Singh has expressed his concern over the alarming rise in the number of Covid-19 patients in J&K.
Dr. Karan Singh said he has been deeply concerned and distressed over at the growth of the Coronavirus and the increasing number of unfortunate deaths, both in Kashmir valley and Jammu region.
While expressing his deep sympathy to the relatives and dear ones of the deceased, Dr. Singh said, “I hope that the administration has ensured enough designated beds for COVID in both the capitals as well as the district headquarters along with a sufficient number of ventilators.”
“This needs to be done on an emergency basis and it will be useful if regular statements are put out, regarding the exact position on a weekly basis so that the public is kept informed” , Dr. Singh added in his statement.
