DIG NKR Reviews Law & Order Arrangements at Peaceful Protest Sites in Sopore and Baramulla
Baramulla, March 2 : Maqsood-ul-Zaman (IPS), DIG Police, North Kashmir Range (NKR), along with the DIG of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), on Tuesday visited various peaceful protest locations in Sopore and Baramulla to assess the situation and review Law & Order arrangements on the ground.
During the visit, the officers interacted with senior police officials, CRPF officers, and field personnel deployed at sensitive points. They emphasized the need to exercise maximum restraint while ensuring public safety and protection of property.
The DIGs directed officers on duty to remain vigilant, maintain close coordination between Police and CRPF, and ensure that all necessary preventive measures are taken to avert any untoward incident.
They also urged the mourning protesters to maintain peace and cooperate with the administration in preserving harmony and normalcy across the districts.
