DGP Dilbagh singh tests negative for COVID-19

Director-General of Police Dilbag Singh’s sample for COVID-19 has come up negative for the COVID-19 infection reports said on Tuesday.

The swab sample of the top police officer of J&K was taken along with a number of police officers after an Assistant Inspector General (AIG) in PHQ was reported Covid-19 positive. The DGP confirmed that his sample returned negative.

Meanwhile, official sources told a local news agency that the test report of ADGP also came out to be negative even as results of some other senior officers are still awaited.

The swab sample of several officers and officials including IGPs, DIGs, and SSPs, is being collected today, the sources added.
