Dead body of Missing Youth Found after 20 days in Dialgam Anantnag

Anantnag,23, February: Dead body of a Youth, who went missing 20 days ago, was found dead at South Kashmir’s BonaDialgam area of Anantnag district on Thursday Evening.

The deceased was identified as Javid Ahmad Pathan son of Mohd Shafi a Resident of Heaven Colony Ashajipora Anantnag was found in the canal in Bonadialgam village area of Anantnag District.

Sources said that locals of the village on Tuesday spotted a dead body lying in the canal of the area after which they rushed to the spot and called the nearby Police for the retrieval of the dead body.

The Police reached the spot and retrieved the decomposed dead body from a canal in the area,  a police official told Arising state.

He said that the deceased was missing since 04 February 2021 and today his body was found in a canal in Bonadialgam village which is about 3kms from the main town of Anantnag.

The official said that the body will be handed over to the family after medical formalities.
